Back then before the internet - You could send a kid to college if you forgo vacations and private school . You paid your house off in 15 years with overtime. But.... everyone here lost their job or failed to keep up with the water bill (lien) or mortgage or taxes or ALL 3!! I lived in NYC while all this was happening Harlem .Park Slope . Lofts. Historical Districts ...
But at some point you Look at Houses
and my hometown is a good place to start???
